Medication Teaching and Support
To help you feel more comfortable and at-ease with taking your oral oncology medication and/or in preparing and injecting your adjunct medication, Prosperity Specialty Pharmacy is the only specialty pharmacy in the area to offer individual medication teaching sessions and support services. We have private, comfortable teaching rooms, where you can learn – at your own pace – how to correctly self-administer your oncology medications.
Patients meet one-on-one with a trained pharmacist or nurse from Prosperity Specialty Pharmacy and we ensure that when you leave our pharmacy, you are ready to administer your medications at home.
This customized training session also gives the clinical pharmacist the opportunity to discuss your therapy with you in detail and to answer any questions you may have about the medication, potential side effect management, or any other concerns. Your clinical pharmacist can help you find the balance you need in order to maintain a holistic approach to wellness.
